Allegiant Air to Launch New Nonstop Service Between Punta Gorda and New Orleans

Punta Gorda, FL – July 29, 2025 – Vector Aviation Consulting is pleased to announce that Allegiant Air has unveiled a new nonstop route linking Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) in southwest Florida with Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). Service begins November 21, 2025.

“New Orleans will be Allegiant’s 51st active route from Punta Gorda, offering local travelers more access to exciting destinations across our network,” Allegiant Chief Commercial Officer Drew Wells said.

Punta Gorda Airport has experienced record-setting traffic in 2025, with enplanements up more than 25% over last year’s record through April.
