Allegiant Announces New Nonstop Service from Punta Gorda to Atlantic City

Punta Gorda, FL – August 13, 2025 – Allegiant Air has unveiled a new nonstop route linking Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) in southwest Florida with Atlantic City International Airport (ACY). Seasonal service begins February 13, 2026.

“This news exemplifies our strong partnership with Allegiant and shows our commitment to providing more air service options for our community,” said Robert D. Hancik, Charlotte County Airport Authority chair. “Since Punta Gorda has high visitation and migration from the state of New Jersey, it means thousands more travelers can quickly connect to their second homes, friends and family.”

Punta Gorda Airport has experienced record-setting traffic in 2025, with enplanements up nearly 25% over last year’s record through July.
